NHS Scarborough and Ryedale Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) has today released a Procurement Information Notice to advise that it intends to hold a Market Engagement Event in advance of its proposed procurement for a Multi-speciality Community Services Provider (MCP) for community services in Scarborough and Ryedale.
Following engagement with local groups, current providers of services and partner agencies, it became apparent that integration of community services across health and social care was one of the factors that most people thought could improve services for our population.
As a result, the CCG is looking to commission a new integrated community service and, having reviewed best practice and taken advice from other CCGs and from NHS England, it considered the options available and agreed to use a new care model to bring this to reality.
The purpose of the Market Engagement Event is to present the proposed procurement to potential service providers and to encourage them, at this early stage, to begin to think about innovative partnerships and ways in which a new service could be delivered.
Full information and a booking form can be found on the CCG’s website.
