North Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults Board - Mental Capacity Act Survey
North Yorkshire Safeguarding Adults Board (NYSAB) are going around the County to find out how well the Mental Capacity Act is embedded. They are ensuring that professionals have the right support and guidance to empower the people that they work with to make decisions, and that those affected by the Act and their families are actively encouraged and supported to participate as fully as possible in any act done for them and any decision affecting them.
NYSAB also wants to make sure that the public have all of the guidance that they need to understand their rights and plan for the future.
Below are two surveys for you to have your input - one for the general public, and the other for professionals working with the Act. They will take no longer than ten minutes to complete.
