We are conducting research to better understand the support and development requirements needed for Registered Managers working in the care sector.

This research will help inform North Yorkshire County Council on how best to support you now and in the future.

We understand that due to staff shortages and ongoing service pressures on the health and social care sector that managing your service and looking after your own wellbeing is getting more difficult. Therefore, we are seeking advice, experience, and information from Registered Managers in the care sector, to identify what help and support you need. 

Healthwatch North Yorkshire recognise the value of listening to people and making sure their voices are heard, therefore we are encouraging Registered Managers working in the care sector to get in touch and share what’s working well, and what is not.

The first stage of our engagement will include a survey and we will also be running a series of focus groups where people will be able to speak in more depth on this topic.
