What are your experiences of urgent care?

Working together to improve services in North Yorkshire
A sign outside a hospital directing patients to an urgent treatment centre

We have been speaking with people who have accessed (or tried to access) any urgent healthcare  in the past year.

By urgent care, we mean where you need to see someone the same day. It could include contacting pharmacies for immediate advice, urgent GP appointments, GP out of hours, NHS 111 or urgent treatment centres, but not calling 999 or going to A&E (note both York and Scarborough Hospitals have an Urgent Treatment Centre and A&E in the same building).

We're working in partnership with Healthwatch York on this project.

Your feedback will help to improve services at urgent treatment centres and GP out of hours services as part of a review across York, Scarborough, Selby, and Malton.

The deadline for the survey has now closed, but we will be producing a report later this year.

And don't worry if you live outside of these areas. You can still share your experiences and views with us on our have your say page.
