GP practices to benefit from improvement funding

17 GP practices in North Yorkshire are set to receive funding to help modernise their buildings and improve patient facilities.

The funding, announced during the government’s 2024 Spending Review, totals £102 million and will be shared across England. The aim is to improve the use of space and infrastructure at GP practices, so more patients can be seen in better surroundings.

The money's not new, but today, the government published the full list of the GP practices that will benefit.

The funding is being distributed by NHS Integrated Care Boards, the organisations responsible for planning and funding health services in local areas.
