Have you recently received hospital care in York, Scarborough, Bridlington, Malton or Selby?
Many people living in North Yorkshire receive care from York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust – whether closer to home in Malton, Scarborough or Selby, or travelling to York or Bridlington for appointments, treatment or hospital care.
Our neighbours Healthwatch York is asking people about their experiences of care provided by the Trust, and particularly whether they felt listened to, cared for as an individual and involved in decisions about their care. So we're sharing this survey for them to people in North Yorkshire who have an experience to share.
What does the survey ask?
The short survey asks about your recent experience as an outpatient, inpatient, or when visiting A&E or an urgent treatment centre.
It includes questions about:
- whether staff asked what was important to you
- how well you felt staff listened to you
- whether you felt cared for as a person, not just as a patient
- how much you were involved in decisions about your care
- anything else you would like to share about personalised care in hospital.
Your feedback will be anonymous and will be used to help improve the care people receive.
