Health services in North Yorkshire are improving the translation services they provide after Healthwatch North Yorkshire highlighted inequalities faced by refugees attempting to access care in the county.

In January 2019, the NHS in England published an ambitious 10-year plan showing how the extra money will be used to help improve services across the country.

In November, Healthwatch North Yorkshire asked members of the public about their experiences of accessing urgent care.
